AI Factories in the places others overlook_
Not all data centers are created equal.
DarkHorse builds in the sub-50 MW class: grid-connected sites designed for inference and edge computing, far from the mega campuses in the headlines and part of one of compute's fastest-growing segments. We start with existing operations, power contracts, and years of billing history, then convert overlooked industrial ground into AI factories designed to maximize revenue from every megawatt. That creates productive capacity for customers and potential new tax revenue for the communities that host it.
THE STORY · BEAT ONE
A town with power, and nothing using it.
The factories closed. The businesses moved on. The industries that stayed downsized. The substation was built for all of them, and it stayed: paid for, half used. Without new demand to carry those fixed costs, rates and service pressure climb for everyone left, and the power a community already built gets allocated to other, growing towns. None of that is the town's fault.

THE MAP, IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Half-used power is still a community asset. The substation, old plant lot, and town infrastructure are all still carrying the cost.

THE STORY · BEAT TWO
The piece that steps off the grid_
DarkHorse sites are small by nature. We reclaim tight industrial footprints instead of building on tens of thousands of acres of pristine farmland. The site fits on the lot the industry left, plugs into the substation the town already owns, and starts paying full published taxes from day one. Closed-loop cooling, battery backup, no generators. No traffic, no sprawl, no handouts asked.
THE MAP, IN PLAIN ENGLISH
Existing industrial ground + energized power = an AI factory. Grid power goes back to work and compute revenue goes out.
THE STORY · BEAT THREE · PROSPERITY
One small site. The whole map gets better.
Equipment on the tax rolls can support the library, fire hall, and school without changing how a town lives. That is the kind of prosperity we care about: a stronger tax base, more local opportunity, and no sprawl. Partnering with communities, our thesis is that these compute factories should serve hundreds of small towns across the United States.
A town that says yes on its own terms.

PROSPERITY, MADE LEGIBLE
AI-factory equipment can become a local asset. Potential tax revenue supports the school, library, and fire hall while the town keeps its character.
WHY US
We got obsessed with this problem.
We spent years running compute on power other people walked away from, in towns that had been told no for decades. We watched substations built for factories hum at half load while budgets thinned. Somebody should turn that power back into something the town can bank. That became our whole company.

The buildout is coming either way. Bans don't stop it; they move it, and the revenue moves with it. A town that writes good rules gets to say yes on its own terms.
Who we serve.
FOR TOWNS
A healthier budget without changing how your town lives.
Not all data centers are created equal. A small, grid-served site pays full published taxes and stays inside its fence. Good rules protect your town. A ban just costs it.

FOR INFERENCE OPERATORS
Speed to token, while the queue keeps everyone else waiting.
The grid queue is years long. Inference cannot wait. 50 MW contracted and operational in TVA territory, ready to transition to inference clusters. Speed to token is the metric that matters, and energized today beats shovel-ready.

FOR INVESTORS
Revenue, not megawatts.
The megawatt is the ingredient. Compute is the product. Filings and disclosures are on EDGAR today; the full investor room arrives with the site.
SEC FILINGS ON EDGAR →
The plan is three steps.
01
Convert the site
We convert existing bitcoin mining sites, flexible loads that already help grid stability, into AI compute sites.
02
Bring the offtaker
We bring inference-focused offtakers and get them online and computing in under a year. Modular buildings, closed-loop cooling, battery backup.
03
Revenue starts flowing
Compute revenue from the megawatts, full published taxes to the town, receipts published first, a removal bond posted before we build. Things get better.
